How much does it cost to join HELPP Vet as a vet professional?

How long does it take to set up a HELPP Vet profile?

Most vet professionals are live in under 10 minutes. Setup happens in three steps: create your profile, set your availability and rates, then go live. No technical knowledge required.

TIP: Make sure you have photos ready of the following:

1. Front and back of photo ID (Passport or Driver's licence).

2. A headshot next to the front of your photo ID.

3. Your veterinary registration certificates.

What's included in the HELPP Vet Individual Vet plan?
Every HELPP Vet individual plan includes your own profile page and unique URL. The first paid ‘Booking Basics’ tier includes a built-in appointment and booking system and integrated payments, while the ‘Booking Pro’ tier also includes additional promotional opportunities. Higher-tier plans unlock additional features as your practice grows.
What is the difference between the Free, Booking Basics, Booking Pro and Premium plans?

The Free plan gives you everything you need to get started at no cost. Booking Basics ($37/mo) and Booking Pro ($49/mo) unlock additional capabilities for growing practices.

Do I need any technical skills to set up my HELPP Vet profile?

No technical skills are needed. HELPP Vet is built for veterinary professionals, not developers. Everything, including your booking system, payments, clinical notes and marketing tools, is built into the platform and ready to use from day one.

Is HELPP Vet available to vet professionals outside New Zealand?

Yes. HELPP Vet is a global platform. Vet professionals from anywhere in the world can register, create a profile, and offer teleadvice to pet owners internationally. All you need is an internet connection and a browser-based device.

What happens after I sign up? How does HELPP Vet verify my credentials?

After registering, the HELPP Vet team conducts background checks and professional verification. Once approved, your profile goes live, and you can start accepting bookings and Instant Connect calls straight away.

Can vet nurses and vet technicians join HELPP Vet, or is it only for registered veterinarians?

HELPP Vet welcomes veterinarian specialists, veterinarians, vet technicians, and vet nurses. All four professional tiers are supported on the platform, and each can set their own rates and availability (with Booking Basics, Pro and Premium plans).

Is there a plan for vet clinics or small practices, not just individual vets?

Yes. As well as individual vet plans, HELPP Vet offers plans for small branded practices and veterinary clinics. If you represent a clinic or multi-vet practice, select the plan type that suits you or contact the team to discuss your needs.

Can I run my HELPP Vet practice alongside my existing clinic role?

Yes. HELPP Vet is designed for independent vet professionals who want full flexibility. You set your own hours and availability, so you can offer teleadvice around your existing commitments, whether that's a full-time clinic role or part-time practice.

Additionally, we also have solutions for vet professionals who want to start their own branded service (not using their own name) and clinics that would like to utilise the vets on the HELPP Vet platform to supplement their own workforce.
